Świnoujście

On the day of 23 November 2017 shall enter into force the Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation dated 27 November 2017 by amending the Regulation of 6 July 2015 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development – regulating the high of recreational fishing license fee paid by natural persons (except during sports competitions being licensed by organizers on separate basis and except ship-owners authorized to carry out fishing from their vessels). According to the new rates, the levies will be charged as follows:

1) for weekly fishing period - 7 zł;

2) for monthly fishing period - 11 zł;

3) for 12-month fishing period - 42 zł, although for members of large families holding the large family card issued in accordance with the Act of 5 December 2014 on the large family card (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1832) - 32 zł.

Note: Validity of the fishing license starts from the date of the payment and terminates after a week, month or year, respectively. The period is counted from the date of making the transfer as confirmed by the date stamp issued by the post office, bank or printed out on the electronic bank transfer statement. Charges paid for periods other than those specified in the Act shall not be valid.

The proof of payment shall unambiguously indicate the person engaged in recreational fishing, which means that the following data shall be indicated on the payment confirmation:  full name and address of the recreational angler, specified fishing period (a week, a month, 12-month). The license is valid explicitly with an identity card containing the same personal data. The above mentioned reductions in the lay shall not cumulate – in case more than one deduction applies, only one will be granted.
